Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and experienced Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. In this role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, from food preparation to staff management, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You’ll be the driving force behind creating a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment that delights our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about fine dining, skilled in team leadership, and well-versed in food safety and cost control practices.

Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth.
Oversee menu planning, ensuring a variety of innovative dishes that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
Manage food production processes, maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards across all menu items.
Implement and monitor food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Control inventory levels through effective inventory management and control techniques, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely preparation and exceptional service delivery.
Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, including food handling, cooking, serving, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication between kitchen and service teams for a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or as a head chef with strong leadership skills.
Extensive culinary experience, including fine dining and catering environments.
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen staff teams effectively.
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, inventory control, and cost management techniques.
Familiarity with dietary department requirements and food handling regulations.
Strong skills in menu planning, food preparation, and food service management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced setting.
