Salary: $120,785-$182,707/yr (DOE)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Position Summary

The Director of Nursing (DON) at Warnerview and Mountain View Skilled Nursing Facilities leads nursing operations to ensure the highest quality, individualized care for residents. Reporting to the CNO, the DON is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating nursing services while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. This is a benefit-eligible position with a mix of administrative and hands-on responsibilities in long-term care.

Essential Responsibilities

Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
Oversee scheduling, payroll, and staff evaluations
Promote dignity, respect, and professionalism among staff
Support quality improvement and policy development
Maintain positive communication with residents, families, and the healthcare team
Ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies
Act as liaison between CNO and SNF nursing personnel
Assist in direct patient care when required
Participate in emergency response, staff orientation, and ongoing professional development

Minimum Qualifications

Current California RN license and active CPR certification
Experience in long-term care and strong leadership/supervisory skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Dependable, adaptable, and able to foster a collaborative work environment

Preferred Qualifications

Director of Nursing Certificate
Baccalaureate or higher degree in nursing
Previous supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Hires: $5000 paid during the full pay period following the 90th day of employment; $5000 paid after the completion of 2 years of employment
Relocation Reimbursement (for eligible applicants): Up to 1,500 miles - $2,500; Over 1,500 miles - $5,000
