Tax Manager / Senior Tax Reviewer — Bilingual
Full-Time: 35–40 Hours Per Week
$18.00–$20.00 per Hour
We are seeking a highly productive, bilingual tax professional with 3–5 years of hands-on experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate must be ready to step into the role, work independently, manage a steady workload, meet deadlines, and produce accurate work with minimal training or supervision. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Form 1040 tax returns and supporting schedules
- Prepare and review amended returns (Form 1040-X)
- Prepare and review Forms 1120, 1120-S, and 1065
- Review returns prepared by other tax professionals
- Identify errors, missing documents, and compliance issues
- Maintain accuracy while meeting productivity expectations
- Review financial records and identify legitimate tax-saving opportunities
- Answer technical questions from preparers and support staff
- Conduct tax research when necessary
- Manage multiple returns and deadlines efficiently
- Communicate professionally with English- and Spanish-speaking clients
- Maintain complete and accurate case notes
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish—required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of recent tax preparation and review experience
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Proven ability to handle a high-volume workload
- Must be dependable, efficient, and highly productive
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of federal tax laws and filing requirements
- Experience reviewing returns prepared by other tax professionals
- Experience with Drake, TaxSlayer, or similar professional tax software
- Active Enrolled Agent or CPA license strongly preferred
- Valid PTIN required
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
