About Ambrosia

We’re currently seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Broil Cook to join and help lead our back-of-house team.

Position Summary

The Lead Broil Cook is responsible for overseeing the broil station, ensuring proper preparation and execution of all grilled and broiled items to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the broil station during service
Prepare and cook steaks, seafood, and other broiled items to exact specifications
Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation standards
Monitor food quality, consistency, and timing
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station
Train and mentor line cooks as needed
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Assist with prep and inventory management

Qualifications

2+ years experience on a broil or grill station (lead experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of steak temperatures and protein cookery
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Leadership mindset with strong communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
