What Will You Do?

The Tax Attorney-Tax Audit Department Manager will be responsible for representing our clients in front of the IRS and/or state government agencies in examinations as well as the general oversight of other team members.

Research and develop strategies to defend client’s position in examinations of the IRS and state entities while considering their specific goals.
Consistently communicate with clients via email/phone/video call/mail regarding their audit plan, case updates, and expectations.
Prioritize and manage caseload and assignments.
Respond in a timely manner to client inquiries and requests.
Supervise and?mentor?staff.
Work with the audit team to ensure team members are meeting goals, following required process, etc.
Evaluate processes and assist with further strategic development within the department.
Assist with?recruiting?and hiring for the audit department as well as disciplinary meetings.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a first-class Attorney to become an integral part of our IRS and state Audit team! We require someone who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Requirements:

Requirements

Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, or another state within the United States, at the time of application.
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing tax representation.
Minimum of 3 years of experience?supervising?and mentoring staff.
A positive attitude and customer service mindset with a strong work ethic.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with great follow up.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with the skill to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Ability to accomplish/complete a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.
Capacity to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Capability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to convey?confidence?in regular client interactions.
Receives enjoyment from problem solving and working through issues with clients and team members.
Adaptable and a team player when priorities shift, or unexpected challenges arise.
Access to the following equipment to perform the required work duties.
A computer, laptop, monitor(s), tablet and/or smart phone.
Internet - a minimum of 50 Mbps internet service with a recommended speed of 100 Mbps for optimal performance.
Satisfactory background and reference checks.
