We are partnered with a well-respected, multidisciplinary design and special inspections firm in Manhattan. They provide consulting services to the construction industry in the New York Metropolitan area, and they are seeking to expand their team!
The Geotechnical Special Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections, tests, and evaluations on construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications. The role will involve conducting site visits, reviewing construction plans and documents, performing inspections, documenting findings, and communicating with project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
NYS PE
ICC Special Inspector Certifications
Geotechnical Engineering Specialty
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Experience in performing inspections and tests on construction projects
Strong attention to detail and ability to report accurate findings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment
Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications
Relevant experience in the construction industry
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000 Commensurate with Experience
