About Silverlands

Silverlands is a rapidly growing real estate investment and property management company focused on creating exceptional communities and delivering outstanding resident experiences. We own and operate multifamily communities, manufactured housing communities, and residential properties across multiple markets.

Our mission is simple: create great places for people to live while building long-term value through operational excellence.

We’re looking for a high-performing District Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities in the Amarillo market. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and takes ownership of results.

The Opportunity

As a District Manager, you will be responsible for the financial performance, occupancy growth, resident satisfaction, team development, and overall operations of multiple multifamily communities.

You will lead Community Managers and Leasing Teams while partnering with maintenance, accounting, and executive leadership to drive performance across your portfolio.

This is not a desk job. We’re looking for a leader who enjoys being in the field, coaching teams, solving problems, and creating results.

What You’ll Do

· Oversee daily operations of multiple multifamily properties

· Lead, coach, and develop Community Managers and onsite teams

· Drive occupancy, leasing performance, and resident retention

· Analyze property financials, budgets, and performance metrics

· Ensure properties meet company standards for appearance, maintenance, and customer service

· Conduct regular property visits and operational audits

· Monitor delinquency, collections, and expense control

· Partner with maintenance teams to improve asset condition and resident satisfaction

· Recruit, train, and retain top-performing team members

· Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and all applicable regulations

· Utilize AppFolio and company reporting systems to manage portfolio performance

Required Qualifications

· 5+ years of property management experience

· 3+ years managing multiple properties or overseeing onsite managers

· Strong understanding of multifamily operations

· Experience managing budgets, occupancy, collections, and financial performance

· Proven ability to lead and develop teams

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the portfolio

Preferred Qualifications

· AppFolio experience

· Bilingual (English/Spanish)

· Experience managing Class B and workforce housing communities

· CAM, CAPS, CPM, or related industry certifications
