About the Role
Country Broker, a rural real estate brokerage serving Southwest Washington, is hiring a full-time Personal Driver & Assistant based in Amboy, WA. This is a varied role for someone who likes being on the move, takes pride in a spotless vehicle, and enjoys making someone else's day run smoothly. You'll keep the truck moving and the day on schedule — driving to appointments across four counties, keeping the vehicle clean and serviced, and handling the errands and clerical tasks that free up the broker's time.
What You'll Do
- Drive the broker to meetings, showings, and appointments across Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, and Lewis Counties, keeping a smooth, on-time daily route.
- Keep the company truck immaculate and mechanically ready — car washes, detailing, and coordinating all manufacturer-scheduled service.
- Coordinate each day with the broker's assistant (schedule, locations, gate codes, lockboxes, signage) and prep the vehicle each morning: stocked cooler, cold water and snacks, materials loaded.
- Run errands during appointments — dry cleaning, groceries, mail and shipping, pharmacy, returns, and meal pickups.
- Help with light office tasks as needed at the Battle Ground office — printing and prepping materials, filing, handling packages, and similar support — when the broker is working between meetings.
- Handle clerical field support that does not require a real estate license — placing and retrieving signs, transporting and placing lockboxes, and running documents and keys.
- Take on ad-hoc requests that involve the vehicle and free up the broker's time.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of driving experience with a clean driving record (required).
- A valid Washington driver's license (required).
- Reliable, punctual, and discreet — comfortable around confidential business.
- A self-starter who fills downtime productively and takes ownership of the vehicle and task list.
- Physically capable — comfortable hauling signs, handling lockboxes, and working outdoors in all weather.
- Knowledge of Southwest Washington back roads is a strong plus.
- Able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check, and to be added to the company's auto insurance.
Schedule & Details
- Full-time, roughly 6:30 AM–5:30 PM Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for open houses and showings.
- W-2 employee (not a contractor); hourly.
- Company truck provided; fuel and vehicle expenses covered.
