Job Title: Rough Framer
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18-$24 Hourly, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends depending on project needs
Work Location: In person

Job Summary

Arrow Ridge Homes is seeking a reliable and hardworking Rough Framer to join our residential construction team. In this role, you will help build the structural framework of high-quality homes, including walls, floors, roof systems, stairs, blocking, and sheathing. We are looking for individuals who take pride in craftsmanship, show up ready to work, and understand the importance of safety, teamwork, and doing the job right.

This is a great opportunity for experienced framers as well as motivated workers looking to grow their skills in residential construction.

Responsibilities

Frame walls, floors, roofs, stairs, decks, and other structural components according to plans and specifications
Read and follow blueprints, layout plans, and direction from supervisors
Measure, cut, assemble, and install lumber, engineered wood products, trusses, and sheathing
Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other jobsite equipment safely
Assist with material handling, site organization, and daily jobsite cleanup
Work closely with crew members, site supervisors, and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently
Follow all company safety standards and jobsite procedures
Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project timelines

Requirements

Experience in rough framing, residential construction, carpentry, or a related trade preferred
Willingness to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic
Ability to read a tape measure and use basic framing tools
Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Positive attitude and ability to work well with a crew
Must follow all jobsite safety requirements
