Part-Time Tumblebug Manager
SUCCESS Gymnastics is looking for a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic Part-Time Tumblebug Manager to lead and support our preschool gymnastics program. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with young children, has a strong gymnastics background, and enjoys mentoring coaches while helping create a fun, positive learning environment.
About Our Tumblebug Program
Our Tumblebug program introduces young children to gymnastics in a fun, encouraging, and developmentally appropriate setting.
Tumblebugs I (18 months - 3 years) is a parent-and-child class that focuses on developmental movement, socialization, and introducing children to the four gymnastics events through obstacle courses and age-appropriate equipment.
Tumblebugs II (Ages 4 - 5) allows children to participate independently while continuing to develop strength, coordination, confidence, and body awareness through engaging obstacle courses, skill progressions, and gymnastics fundamentals.
Responsibilities
As our Tumblebug Manager, you will:
- Supervise and support the Tumblebug coaching staff
- Train, mentor, and provide ongoing guidance to Tumblebug instructors
- Ensure classes are taught according to SUCCESS Gymnastics training standards
- Provide coaching feedback to maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Create and distribute a monthly Tumblebug newsletter
- Recreate and set up Tumblebug courses every other Sunday (with assistance from other staff members)
- Help maintain consistency, organization, and quality throughout the Tumblebug program
- Ensure classes remain fun, engaging, age-appropriate, and well organized
- Work closely with the office and leadership team to continue growing and improving the program
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a strong gymnastics background
- Enjoys working with young children and their families
- Demonstrates leadership and communication skills
- Is dependable, organized, and self-motivated
- Enjoys mentoring and supporting other coaches
- Shares a passion for creating a positive first gymnastics experience for every child
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings: 9:30 AM – 10:55 AM
- At least two evenings per week: 4:30 PM – 6:45 PM
- Every other Sunday: 3:30 PM – 6:15 PM (course setup and recreation with assistance)
