Full Job Description

Express Employment Professionals of Ames, IA has partnered with local companies in the Ames and Webster City areas with varying open administrative support positions!

These positions are full-time and 1st shift opportunities.

Examples of open roles are - Office Assistant and Healthcare Administrative roles

These roles all require a high level of customer service and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidates will have experience in data entry and possess a high attention to detail. Phone etiquette and solid communication skills are also required.

General Responsibilities:

Operating office equipment such as a computer, printer, fax machine, and managing multiple phone lines
Utilizing computer programs such as Microsoft Office products to pull reports and create forms
Providing great customer service to people from all walks of life via multiple forms of communication including in person, phone call, text message, email, and social media
For Healthcare Administrative roles - process patient information, assist with insurance payments and general insurance inquiries, file insurance claims
Monitoring stock of office supplies and creating order lists
Other administrative/customer service tasks as needed and assigned by other staff members

Front Office Coordinator Requirements/Qualifications:

Prior administrative experience in a Receptionist/Office Manager/Healthcare Admin role preferred
Prior customer service experience (in any industry) required
For Healthcare Admin roles - experience working with insurance and billing
Proficiency in both verbal and written English, being bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus (but not required)
Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent communication and people skills
Great organizational and multitasking abilities; candidate will need to constantly manage and re-evaluate competing priorities
Problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
High School diploma/equivalent, additional education or certifications is a plus
