Full Job Description

Are you looking to work in a fun, dynamic and team oriented dental practice? Look no further! At Maple Glen Family Dentistry, we are currently looking for a Treatment Coordinator to help continue providing 5-star dental service to the wonderful patients of East Amherst.

Maple Glen is a privately owned dental practice that is growing rapidly and looking for a qualified candidate with 2 years or more experience. The primary function of the Treatment Coordinator will be to help patients get started with their treatment and reduce barriers to care.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s dental needs
Answering the office phone and distributing calls or messages accordingly
Checking-in patients - verifying insurance and confirming patient information
Schedule patient treatment appointments and contacting patients to follow through with proposed treatment
Manage dentist and hygienist schedules to ensure efficient and productive use of each appointment time
Assist patient with financial arrangements, educating and assisting in overcoming any and all perceived obstacles to care.
Execute all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperwork
Other front desk duties as assigned, but not limited to: collecting co-pays and past due balances, scanning/filing, mailings, etc.
Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal and HIPAA laws and guidelines in regards to patient’s records and information

Qualifications:

Proven experience in dental administration - prior treatment planning experience a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Attention to detail and a positive attitude
Ability to understand insurance plans and accounts receivable
Passionate about providing exceptional patient care

Position Details:

Schedule: Full Time - Monday through Thursday at our East Amherst location, Thursday at our Lockport location – Every weekend is a 3-day weekend!
Salary Range: $21.00 to $28.00/hour
Location: East Amherst, NY- Lockport, NY

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 33.0 per week
