Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Assist the supervisor of an engagement wherever possible
Delegate appropriate level of work to staff and communicate such to the engagement supervisor
Begin acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty
Prepare & Review Individual returns with a few business returns
Provide more complex tax research
Ensures client service teams comply with Firm Policy.

Knowledge & Skills■ Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation strongly preferred.

■ 5+ years of progressive public accounting or tax experience, including supervisory or management responsibility.

■ Thorough knowledge of US Individual (Form 1040) tax return preparation and review.

■ Working knowledge of US multi-state tax compliance, apportionment, and nexus concepts.

■ Hands-on experience with UltraTax CS with workflows

■ Demonstrated ability to review and clearly communicate technical findings to both staff and clients.

■ Uncompromising integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential client financial information.

■ Strong written and verbal English communication skills; able to translate complex tax concepts into plain language for clients.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
