Overview
St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join our growing outpatient multi-specialty team. This full-time position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality care to patients with a variety of endocrine, hormonal, and metabolic disorders in a supportive and patient-centered environment. As a key member of our collaborative care team, the Endocrinologist will play a central role in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and more.

Position Highlights:
- Full-time, hospital-employed outpatient role within a respected healthcare system.
- No hospital call or inpatient rounding requirements, ideal schedule for work life balance.
- Referral base from primary care and specialty colleagues across the network.
- EMR-integrated practice for efficient documentation and care coordination.
- Support from nursing staff, dietitians, and certified diabetes educators.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal/pituitary conditions, osteoporosis, and obesity.
- Create and monitor individualized treatment plans to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Utilize the latest diagnostic tools, lab testing, and imaging studies.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families about disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care coordination programs.
Qualifications:
Required Credentials - Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York
Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
Skills - Excellent clinical knowledge, communication skills, and a passion for chronic disease management.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary Range - $211,782 - $306,402 (commensurate with experience).

Complexity of Work:
Involves complex diagnostic reasoning and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and adrenal and pituitary diseases. Requires in-depth knowledge of hormone-related systems and treatments, as well as the ability to tailor management plans to each individual. Must collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to deliver coordinated care, often across long-term treatment timelines.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Adherence to Standard Precautions and utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
