Brewery X is young and growing quickly. We are looking for our next Assistant Brewer to be excited to grow, build and innovate with us. We strive at Brewery X to enhance our community, foster creativity, and produce the highest quality beer.
The Brewery X Assistant Brewer role is a full-time hourly position, and we expect that the BX Brewing Team member will set a superior standard for quality, consistency, work ethic, and company culture. They are expected to treat the production area and workspace as their own and ensure that all beer is produced and packaged to the highest standards.
Responsibilities

- Follows all Brewery X safety regulations and processes.
- Operate and perform functions assigned for an assistant brewer
- Basic cellar functions: Transfers, Tank CIP, Dry hopping, keg/can line assistance, etc.
- Beer filtration
- Perform proper cleaning and sanitation practices for the production area.
- Maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Continue education thru classes, seminars, and reading.
- Represent Brewery X positively.
Requirements

- Minimum 1 year working within brewery production
- Basic knowledge/skills within a brewery
- Centrifuge experience desired
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
- Must be flexible when it comes to working overtime for business demands. Overtime may require weekends when needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
