Full Job Description

This Chief Estimator opportunity offers the chance to lead the preconstruction vision for a respected builder while influencing the projects, clients, and strategies that drive long-term success. If you're ready to shape more than estimates, this leadership role deserves a closer look.

As a Chief Estimator you will:

Lead the company's preconstruction vision, establishing estimating strategies that drive profitable growth and position the organization for long-term success
Oversee competitively bid public and municipal projects $5M to $30M, interpreting and verifying design intent for accuracy
Build significant subcontractor relationships to ensure bids are as competitive as possible

Requirements of this Chief Estimator role:

4-year degree strongly preferred
Confident personality who can hold their own in a negotiation
Extensive knowledge of projects that have civil aspects to them
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Building Connected, OST, Procore and MS Project, with the ability to adapt to new software as the industry evolves
Ability to manage and mentor the estimating team: Conceptual estimating skills will be as important as detailed take off ability
