Anchorage Marriott Downtown is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Front Office Manager to help lead our dynamic Front Office team. As the only full-service Marriott property in Alaska, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.

About the Property:

392 guest rooms
14,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space
Full-service restaurant and bar

Indoor pool and fitness center

Your Impact:

As a leader in the Front Office, you’ll help set the tone for the guest experience—from the moment they walk in until the moment they leave. You’ll lead a team responsible for check-ins, guest inquiries, and service recovery, while supporting Marriott brand standards and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in front office or guest services, preferably in a full-service or branded hotel environment
Strong knowledge of front office operations, including PMS systems, daily reporting, and staffing
A proven track record of driving guest satisfaction and team performance
Effective communicator, skilled in handling guest concerns and team coaching
Comfortable with a fast-paced, 24/7 operation and flexible to work varied shifts as needed
A degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred

What You’ll Do:

Supervise and support the front office team, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Collaborate with housekeeping, engineering, and F&B departments to ensure seamless operations
Resolve guest concerns and implement service recovery strategies
Assist with managing labor costs, inventory, and financial reporting
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as scheduled
