Description

We are hiring for Patient Scheduler position at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hr Day shifts, 40 hours per week.

Under supervision coordinates patient reception, scheduling and registration. Obtains and records all data relative to the registration process. Maintains knowledge of insurance and third-party payers, computer data-entry and forms and the Advanced Beneficiary Notification (ABN) process. Answers all incoming calls using correct phone etiquette and displays exemplary customer service skills.

Required Qualifications:

Experience with multi-line telephone systems, personal computer, printers, copiers and fax machines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical terminology.
6 months of Clerical background involving public contact, preferably medical. Ancillary department (such as Radiology), clerical or Admitting Representative/Scheduling specialist experience.
