Full Job Description

Fruitland Fresh (Dimond Center Mall Location) is seeking a Dedicated, Diligent, Responsible, and Respectful Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager’s goal is to provide an exceptional work ethic & leadership to generate business success & efficiency. He/she will support the store manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The enthusiastic approach and disciplined management skills will help foster a positive environment that motivates teamwork, sales growth, and operational efficiency. If you believe that you possess an excellent work ethic, unquestionable discipline, and leadership abilities, this position will not only help you grow financially but also in work experience.

Duties

· Opening & Closing the store [The MOST Important Duty of All]

· Assist in supervising daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service activities

· Handle POS (Point of Sale) system management with accuracy, cash handling, and basic bookkeeping

· Lead & motivate team members to achieve sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction

· Support the manager on employee orientation/training

· Support the manager on inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock counts, and coordinating purchase activities

· Support the manager in ensuring compliance with store policies, safety procedures, and merchandising standards while supervising shift management

· Making smoothies

Qualification

· Age 18 and Up / Able to Drive / Able to lift 30 lbs - 50 lbs

· Able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (possibly even Thursday) – Every week

· None expired Food Handler’s Card (acceptable if obtained after being hired)

· Experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within a retail or food store environment

· Familiarity with the POS system, inventory control, and basic bookkeeping practices

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment

· Excellent Communication Skills with customers & team members

· Excellent time management and organizational skills
