Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Mobile Examiner to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will travel to various locations to perform comprehensive medical examinations and specimen collections, ensuring accurate and efficient patient assessments. Your proactive approach will help facilitate timely diagnoses and support patient care initiatives. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional service in diverse environments. NEEDS A PRINTER AND PD PER EXAM!!

Duties

Conduct thorough physical examinations, including vital signs, blood sampling, and physiological assessments at multiple mobile sites
Collect, process, and handle specimens with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures
Perform venipuncture (blood draws) and phlebotomy with skill and care to ensure patient comfort and sample integrity
Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, examination findings, and specimen details using medical terminology
Assist patients with their care needs, providing clear instructions and compassionate support throughout the examination process
Ensure compliance with safety protocols such as basic life support (BLS), CPR, and infection control standards during all procedures
Manage heavy lifting of equipment or supplies when setting up mobile stations or transporting specimens as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, or clinical laboratory work within a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments
Hands-on experience with specimen collection, processing, venipuncture, blood sampling, and phlebotomy techniques
Certification in basic life support (BLS) and CPR required; hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred
Excellent patient service skills with a caring attitude towards diverse populations
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining proper ergonomics
Familiarity with hospital environments or mobile healthcare units is a plus
