Full Job Description

ATM & Air/Vac Field Service Technician

CTI

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This position services ATMs, and commercial air and vacuum equipment throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, traveling, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and working directly with convenience store owners.

Initial Project

Your first assignment will be to:

Remove approximately 80 kiosks from locations throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.
Upgrade kiosks to a new operating platform.
Install replacement hardware as needed.
Transport kiosks safely between locations.
Document all work with photos and service notes.

After completion of this project, you will become part of our permanent field service team servicing our growing network of ATM and air/vac locations.

Responsibilities

Install, remove, and relocate ATM equipment.
Upgrade kiosk hardware and software.
Install commercial air and vacuum machines.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Bolt equipment securely to concrete pads.
Connect equipment to standard 120V electrical service when required.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Collect service documentation using a mobile device.
Maintain inventory of parts and tools.
Build positive relationships with store owners and managers.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude required.
Basic electrical experience (120V) preferred.
Experience installing ATMs, vending equipment, air/vac equipment, or similar equipment is a plus.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Ability to lift 100+ pounds with assistance and move heavy equipment using dollies and lift gates.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to travel throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida with occasional overnight travel.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
