Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Radiologic Technologist/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines advanced radiologic imaging expertise with compassionate patient care, supporting diagnostic procedures across various medical settings. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient environment and is committed to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment, including X-ray, and fluoroscopy.
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures with precision, adhering to established radiation safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
Conduct sonography (ultrasound) examinations for diagnostic evaluation of various physiological conditions.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures while providing clear instructions and compassionate care.
Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, ensuring accuracy for medical records and reporting purposes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient diagnostic evaluations in urgent care, emergency medicine, and specialized radiology services.

Qualifications

Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, emergency room settings, or trauma centers.
Proficiency in operating radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Familiarity with interventional radiography procedures and aseptic techniques required for invasive imaging interventions.
Experience in sonography (ultrasound) and implementing radiation safety procedures is essential.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as urgent care centers or emergency departments.
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) is required.
Certified as a CMA/RMA
Excellent patient care skills combined with strong communication abilities to educate patients about procedures and ensure their comfort.
