Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Construction Sales Representative operating on a 1099 independent contractor basis! In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our presence in the construction industry by building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and closing sales that contribute to our growth. This position offers the flexibility to manage your own territory while leveraging your expertise in B2B sales, management, and customer relationship building. Duties

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate new leads and expand market reach within designated territories
Manage existing client accounts through proactive communication, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships
Prospect potential clients via cold calling, networking, and digital marketing channels to identify new sales opportunities
Conduct detailed product presentations and technical sales consultations tailored to construction industry needs
Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction
Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness in the construction sector

Skills

Proven experience in B2B sales, outside sales, or technical sales within the construction or related industries
Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory sales and account portfolios effectively
Excellent customer relationship management (CRM) skills with proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems
Demonstrated success in lead generation, prospecting, and achieving or exceeding sales targets
Exceptional negotiation, deal closing, and client communication abilities
Familiarity with sales management systems and technology sales tools for remote selling environments
Strong analysis skills for market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning
Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms and utilize CRM systems for efficient customer tracking
Experience with upselling, cross-selling, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced setting
