Full Job Description

Overview

Upcountry Dental is a solo doctor private general dentist practice in Seneca, SC. We are looking for a Front Desk Administrator and Treatment Coordinator. ! This energetic role offers the opportunity to lead all aspects of office operations while providing exceptional patient care. You will be the driving force behind efficient practice management, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions, outstanding customer service, and compliance with healthcare regulations. If you’re passionate about healthcare management, possess strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced and friendly, supportive environment, this position is perfect for you!

The office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am -4:00 pm. Benefits include PTO and paid vacations, 401K with employer match, life insurance and long term disability insurance. Experience working as a dental assistant valuable, but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to ensure optimal productivity and patient satisfaction.
Answer patient phone calls and emails, schedule appointments and maintain an efficient office schedule
Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, billing, collections, and fiscal management to maintain the practice’s financial health.
Supervise healthcare staff including administrative support, dental assistants, and hygienists
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Coordinate patient treatment plans by acting as Treatment Coordinator—explaining procedures, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient concerns with excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in medical office operations.
Familiarity with dental clinic workflows and dental office experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with dental insurance and dental billing experience.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and health policy standards.
Competency in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing accounts receivable/payable.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for administrative tasks.
