Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health services across diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning, with a focus on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patients' mental well-being through medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and maintaining the highest quality of patient care.

Duties

Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions tailored to each patient's needs.
Provide psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health counseling.
Manage medication regimens responsibly while monitoring for efficacy and adverse effects in accordance with best practices.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients with complex conditions such as developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction issues, or geriatrics.
Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records while complying with HIPAA regulations.
Engage in crisis management to address urgent mental health concerns effectively and safely.
Utilize telehealth platforms to extend psychiatric services remotely when appropriate, ensuring seamless patient access.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in psychiatry, including diagnostic evaluation techniques and psychopharmacology.

Requirements

Medical degree from an accredited institution with a valid medical license to practice psychiatry.
Post-residency experience in clinical psychiatry, preferably with a focus on pediatric psychiatry or behavioral health.
Demonstrated expertise in working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and geriatric populations.
Proficiency in various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling.
Experience working within hospital or clinic environments, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, psychiatric diagnostics, and medical documentation standards.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and secure handling of sensitive medical records.
Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
