Marketing Associate, Content & Storytelling
Part-Time | On-Site | Tewksbury, MA
**Full-time Opportunities Available Based on Performance**
You Wanted to Tell Stories. Come Help Build One.
Maybe you studied film, video, media, communications, or marketing because you wanted to create.
You learned how to frame a shot. Tell a story. Edit. Graphic Design. Capture emotion. Make people pay attention.
Now you're trying to figure out how to turn those skills into a real career.
This might be the opportunity you didn't know you were looking for.
Eco Auto is building one of the most exciting emerging consumer brands in automotive.
We sell EVs.
We service Teslas and other electric vehicles.
We repair EV batteries.
We're building a national franchise organization.
We're creating new locations.
We're working with customers, technicians, entrepreneurs, investors, and communities every day.
And we need someone with a camera who knows how to recognize:
"There's a story here."
Then capture it.
Your Mission
Your job isn't simply to make cool videos.
Your job is to use storytelling to build the brand and create demand.
We want content that helps:
- Fill our service bays every day
- Make Eco Auto the place EV owners think of for service and battery repair
- Bring vehicles to us for repair from throughout New England and beyond
- Sell more cars in our local market(s)
- Build relationships with our surrounding communities
- Grow our Spanish-speaking audience
- Grow our Portuguese-speaking and Brazilian audience
- Build Eco Auto into a nationally recognized EV brand
We want someone who gets excited not only when a video looks great, but when people comment, share, DM us, book an appointment, or buy a car because of it.
First: You Need to Be Great Behind a Camera
Video is at the heart of this position.
You should understand:
- Composition
- Lighting
- Framing
- Audio
- Interviews
- B-roll
- Camera movement
- Visual storytelling
- Short-form video
- Making real people comfortable on camera
You should be able to walk into a service bay, customer delivery, event, meeting, or dealership floor and instinctively start thinking:
What's the story?
Who's the character?
What's the shot?
Why would someone care?
Sometimes you will plan the content.
Sometimes you'll see something happening and simply know:
We need to film this.
You Will Have Stories Everywhere
One day you might film a technician diagnosing a Tesla battery problem.
The next:
A customer who saved thousands of dollars repairing a battery instead of replacing it.
A family buying their first EV.
A new Model Y arriving.
A customer shipping us their vehicle for a difficult repair.
A franchise meeting.
A company event.
A conversation with our founder about entrepreneurship.
A new location.
A business problem being solved behind the scenes.
There is almost always something happening.
Your job is to capture it.

"That's tomorrow's content."
That's the mindset we're looking for.
Spanish & Portuguese Are a BIG Opportunity
Our founder is Latino and fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
We believe there is a major opportunity to build authentic relationships with the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and Brazilian communities throughout Massachusetts and beyond.

We want to create content that actually speaks to these communities.

Sometimes you'll attend an event.
Sometimes you'll simply be the additional capable person who helps get something done.
This is primarily a creative marketing position, but we value people who are willing to jump in and help the team win.
