Overview
We're looking for an outstanding team player, passionate about patient care, to join our team as a Patient Service Representative (PSR)! You'll play a crucial role in allowing patients to get the care the need by managing appointment scheduling for patients seeing therapy. This remote position requires fluency in Spanish, excellent communication skills, familiarity with patient scheduling, and experience in a front desk or medical receptionist role.
Background Information
CareCon Servicing provides administrative, scheduling and other support to therapists and psychiatrists who see underserved patients. We're retained by therapists and psychiatrists to manage the behind-the-scenes tasks, like scheduling, paperwork, billing, contracts, and compliance, allowing those clinicians to focus on patient care. Our goal is to make healthcare smoother for the therapists, the psychiatrists and their respective patients, while increasing access to care by ensuring efficient scheduling.

Qualifications
Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system eClinicalWorks (eCW) is required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members.
A positive attitude and a passion for creating a great experience for patients.

Essential Functions of the Job
Using a call script, the PSR is responsible for making outbound calls to referred and current patients to schedule appointments with therapists.
Contacting patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
Maintain accurate documentation of call attempts.
Assist patients with rescheduling and inquiries about upcoming appointments.
Utilize EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks for managing patient information and appointments.
Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the clinic.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Additional Requirements
Ability to read, write and comprehend medical information and terminology.
Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written.
Must have reliable home internet service.
Has experience using a Mac; demonstrated ability to use a personal computer (CareCon Servicing will provide a work computer).
Is technologically savvy.
While this is a fully remote position, candidates must be willing to join us for company-sponsored team building meetings held a couple times a year in San Diego, CA.

- If we decide to move forward with an offer for you, the hiring workflow looks like this: a. job offer, b. your start date, which will be three weeks after the job offer.
After you accept the job offer, we'll get to work issuing your computer and equipment.
It is possible that will take more than three weeks (we hope to be ready at three weeks!; it should under no circumstance take more than five weeks total).
Beginning on your start date, three weeks after the job offer, if you do not yet have your equipment, you'll be paid 24hrs/wk until equipment arrives and you start working.
