Do whatever is needed to create an exceptional patient experience while helping our clinics operate at the highest level.

What This Role Looks Like
This isn't a position where you'll spend every day doing the same thing.
- Some days you'll be the first smile patients see as they walk through the door.
- Some days you'll spend most of your time helping patients through therapies and treatments.
- Other days you'll coordinate schedules, verify insurance, process payments, answer phones, guide financial conversations, or help keep the clinic running efficiently.
- Wherever you're needed, you'll step in.

Your Responsibilities May Include
- Welcoming patients and creating an exceptional first impression.
- Managing front desk operations and patient scheduling.
- Answering phones and assisting patients with questions.
- Assisting patients with therapies, rehabilitation, and clinical procedures.
- Educating patients throughout their care experience.
- Guiding patients through financial consultations and helping them understand their treatment plans.
- Verifying insurance benefits and assisting with claims coordination.
- Posting payments and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Following up with patients to help keep them engaged with care.
- Supporting doctors and teammates to keep the clinic operating smoothly.
- Solving problems, anticipating needs, and helping wherever you're needed throughout the day.

Optimum Chiropractic serves patients through multiple clinic locations across the Des Moines metro. We don't operate as separate offices. We're one team with one mission.
As a Patient Care Specialist, you'll be trained across multiple aspects of our organization and should expect to support different clinic locations as business needs evolve. Your schedule will be planned in advance, but flexibility is an important part of this role.
