Job Summary

We are seeking a Chemist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the research, development, and commercialization of our new and existing advanced coating products. This position offers exposure to a wide range of applications and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our products and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in formulating and testing new paint and coating systems.
Conduct laboratory experiments to improve product performance.
Prepare and analyze samples using established test methods and SOPs.
Set up and maintain laboratory equipment for testing and development.
Document and summarize experimental data for team review.
Communicate findings clearly with team members, highlighting unexpected results.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
Support the development of new product ideas through research and experimentation.

Skills Needed

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Self-motivated with a proactive, “get-it-done” mindset.

Knowledge Required

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field.
Laboratory experience preferred but not required; training provided
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
Knowledge of coatings and paints is a plus.

Ability to Implement

Consistently record and report accurate data.
Follow SOPs and adapt to new testing methods as needed.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Learn quickly and ask insightful questions to deepen understanding.
Translate experimental results into actionable insights.
