Pay: $18.00–$21.50 per hour, based on experience

We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Hardscape Assistant to join our landscape construction team. This role supports the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor living spaces, and other hardscape features. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

- Assist with the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and other hardscape features.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, excavating, grading, and establishing proper drainage.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist with laying pavers, natural stone, brick, and concrete products according to project specifications.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Support equipment operators with site preparation and material placement.
- Measure, level, and align materials to ensure quality installation and project accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and storage at the end of each workday.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader or Project Manager.
- Previous experience in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, masonry, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift heavier materials with assistance.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
