Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Videographer/Editor to join our newly formed media production team in conjunction with Schafer Construction, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing compelling footage, editing videos with precision, and delivering visually engaging content across multiple platforms. Your expertise will help elevate our brand storytelling, enhance live event coverage, and produce high-quality media that resonates with diverse audiences. Duties
- Film high end commercial construction projects, jobsite updates, and lifestyle content
- Operate all studio equipment including cameras, lighting, microphones, and drones (preferred)
- Produce and edit long form YouTube videos
- Edit Build Better with Matt Vetter podcast (video and audio)
- Create short form clips for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
- Capture cinematic project videos
- Maintain organized media library and storage systems
- Coordinate weekly with the Client Lead on content schedule
- Ensure consistent high end production quality
Experience
- Strong videography and editing experience
- Proficient in professional editing software
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and storytelling
- Experience filming podcasts, commercial real estate, or lifestyle content preferred
- Detail oriented and deadline driven
- Comfortable directing on camera talent when needed
- Drone experience preferred
