Fort Meade, MD TS/SCI with Polygraph Full-Time $95,000 – $125,000 Actively hiring

Active TS/SCI clearance required. Benz Technology is unable to sponsor security clearances. U.S. citizenship required.

About the Role

You’ll join a small, collaborative development team building and maintaining enterprise web-based services deployed in AWS. This is an entry-level role with close mentorship, clearly scoped tasks, and an emphasis on developing strong engineering fundamentals. You’ll contribute real work from day one while growing your skills through code reviews and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities
Implement features and bug fixes based on well-defined tickets and acceptance criteria with code review support
Learn and contribute to an enterprise web services platform across frontend and backend layers
Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting web applications hosted in AWS, including log review and issue escalation
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Follow team development workflows and deployment processes while building familiarity with the broader codebase
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with one or more: PHP, .NET C#, Java, Node.js, or Python
Demonstrated experience with one or more: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, or React
Comfort working in Linux environments (command line, file management, permissions)
Desired Qualifications
Exposure to relational databases (MariaDB, MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and basic SQL
Familiarity with web or app servers such as Nginx, Apache, or Tomcat
Exposure to AWS or Azure concepts (compute, storage, networking)
Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python
Experience working in an Agile development environment
