Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure & Applications Specialist to support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and reliability of our onsite IT environment at our Anniston, Alabama facility.
This role will require someone who can work with or without guidance to maintain network infrastructure, enterprise applications, our Microsoft 365 environment, physical security systems, and warehouse technology.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on technical skills, enjoys troubleshooting, and is eager to grow within a manufacturing and recycling environment.
Key Responsibilities Network & Infrastructure Support
- Assist with configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network equipment, including routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Support Ubiquiti UniFi networking and UniFi Protect camera systems.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, wireless, and remote-access issues.
Systems, Servers & Backups
- Support Windows workstations, servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Assist with server patching, monitoring, and performance checks.
- Help perform backups and restoration testing.
Enterprise Applications & Development Support
- Support and troubleshoot internally hosted enterprise applications.
- Assist with application updates, integrations, and issue resolution.
- Perform basic backend maintenance and scripting using Node.js under the guidance of the Senior Engineer.
Microsoft 365 & User Administration
- Manage user accounts, licensing, mailboxes, and permissions in Microsoft 365.
- Support Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.
- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Warehouse & Physical Security Technology
- Support Zebra scanners, thermal label printers, and related warehouse devices.
- Assist with Ubiquiti camera and access-control systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues in warehouse and production areas.
End-User Support
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Document support tickets, recurring issues, and resolution steps.
Required Qualifications
- 4 or more years of experience in IT support, systems administration, network support, or application support.
- Strong experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience with networking concepts, firewalls, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi equipment or similar platforms.
- Basic experience with Node.js or JavaScript for backend or application support.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments.
- Experience with server backups and disaster-recovery processes.
- Familiarity with Zebra printers and scanners and UniFi Protect cameras.
- Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, or basic scripting.
- Relevant certifications, including CompTIA, Microsoft, or Ubiquiti, are a plus.
Work Environment
- Full-time, onsite position in Anniston, Alabama.
- Occasional after-hours support for critical issues.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move through office and warehouse environments.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
