Front Office Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant

Anniston Chiropractic Spine & Injury Center — Anniston, Alabama

Anniston Chiropractic Spine & Injury Center has been serving individuals and families in Northeast Alabama for more than four decades.

We are looking for an exceptional Front Office Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant to become an important part of our team.

This isn’t a position where you simply sit behind a desk and answer the phone.

You are the first voice many patients hear, the first person they see when they walk through our doors, and an important part of the experience they have throughout their care.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

Warmly greeting patients and making them feel welcome
Answering incoming calls professionally and enthusiastically
Scheduling new and existing patient appointments
Helping patients understand the next step in their visit
Managing patient check-in and check-out
Maintaining an organized and productive appointment schedule
Collecting payments and accurately documenting transactions
Communicating with patients by telephone, text, and email
Following up with patients regarding appointments and needed information
Helping reduce missed appointments through effective communication
Entering and maintaining accurate patient information
Scanning, organizing, and managing appropriate documents
Working with our doctors and clinical team to maintain efficient patient flow
Helping maintain a professional, organized, clean, and welcoming reception area
Learning and using our scheduling, communication, and patient-management technology
Assisting with additional front-office and patient-service responsibilities as needed

You Don’t Have to Know Chiropractic

Previous chiropractic, medical, dental, or healthcare front-office experience is helpful, but it is not required for the right person.

We can teach systems.

We can teach scheduling.

We can teach software.

We can teach you about chiropractic and how our office operates.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to protect confidential patient information
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Prior healthcare, chiropractic, medical, dental, hospitality, customer-service, scheduling, or reception experience is a plus.

This is an on-site position in Anniston, Alabama.

Applicants should have reliable transportation and dependable availability for the required clinic schedule.
