NuBridgeMD is actively recruiting a Georgia-licensed Psychiatrist (MD/DO) with an active DEA registration to provide physician collaboration to qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).
This is not a traditional full-time psychiatry position.
Instead, it is a flexible opportunity for an experienced psychiatrist to use their clinical expertise to support qualified PMHNPs while developing a meaningful recurring professional revenue stream.
Through NuBridgeMD, psychiatrists can be matched with vetted psychiatric nurse practitioners who need an appropriate collaborating or delegating physician to establish, maintain, and grow compliant behavioral health practices.
Physicians who maintain licenses in multiple eligible states may have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple PMHNPs across those jurisdictions, creating the potential for $60,000–$100,000+ in annual contract income, depending on physician capacity, state regulations, number of collaborations, and individual agreements.

Key Responsibilities
As a Collaborating Psychiatrist, you will:
- Serve as a collaborating/delegating physician for appropriately matched PMHNPs
- Establish and maintain required collaborative or nurse protocol agreements
- Participate in chart review and clinical oversight as required by applicable law and the individual collaboration agreement
- Remain reasonably available for clinical consultation with collaborating PMHNPs
- Provide professional guidance regarding complex psychiatric presentations when appropriate
- Review clinical documentation and prescribing-related matters when required
- Maintain timely, professional communication with assigned PMHNPs
- Support evidence-based psychiatric practice, quality improvement, and patient safety
- Complete required collaboration documentation and attestations
- Work with NuBridgeMD's administrative team to maintain organized collaboration records
- Follow applicable Georgia Medical Board, DEA, federal, and state requirements
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while fostering a supportive physician–NP relationship
Routine direct patient care is not the primary focus of this position unless separately agreed upon.
Georgia Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- MD or DO degree
- Active, full, and unrestricted Georgia medical license
- Active DEA registration applicable to your Georgia practice
- Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry
- Clinical experience in outpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or telepsychiatry
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychiatric diagnosis
- Excellent clinical judgment
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort working collaboratively with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners
- Ability to provide timely consultation when clinically necessary
- Commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical clinical practice
- Ability to satisfy Georgia requirements applicable to physicians participating in APRN nurse protocol agreements
