Full Job Description

Provider Resources Inc. (PRI) is a growing Independent Dispute Resolution Entity (IDRE) operating under the No Surprises Act. We process payment disputes between health plans and providers—work that directly protects patients from unexpected medical bills. PRI has approximately 200 employees across the U.S. and is expanding rapidly.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

PRI is looking for a Director of Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement to tackle some of the most important questions facing a rapidly scaling, regulated business: Where are stakeholders experiencing friction? What is driving those issues? Which opportunities will have the greatest impact—and how do we turn the answer into action?

This is a strategy role with a direct line to execution. You will combine structured problem-solving, analytics, stakeholder insight, and cross-functional leadership to shape PRI’s stakeholder strategy and build the operating mechanisms that bring it to life. For someone coming from consulting or a strategy-oriented operating role, this is an opportunity to move from advising to owning outcomes in a high-growth environment.

You will report to the VP of IDRE Operations and lead four team members across proactive engagement and issue resolution. Because PRI operates under CMS neutrality and impartiality requirements, every strategy and stakeholder interaction must be grounded in consistency, fairness, and regulatory discipline.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead highpriority strategic initiatives at the intersection of stakeholder experience, operations, analytics, and compliance—from defining the problem through implementation.
Diagnose complex, ambiguous issues by building a fact base, identifying root causes, evaluating tradeoffs, and developing clear recommendations for senior leaders.
Translate stakeholder feedback, issue patterns, and operational data into a prioritized roadmap—creating a voiceofstakeholder loop that informs PRI’s processes, programs, and communications.
Design and lead PRI’s stakeholder engagement operating model, including proactive education, issue resolution, escalation pathways, service levels, and accountability.
Build the measurement framework for stakeholder experience, partnering with analytics to develop leading indicators, scorecards, and executiveready insights.
Influence decisions and drive change across operations, compliance, analytics, and other teams without relying on formal authority.
Lead and develop four direct reports, building a team that is analytical, responsive, and capable of moving between strategy and handson execution.
Ensure all stakeholderfacing programs and communications meet CMS neutrality and impartiality requirements.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

PRI’s leaders have a clear, databacked view of the most important stakeholder pain points and the actions that will address them.
Stakeholder issues are resolved through consistent, measurable processes—and recurring patterns lead to durable operational improvements.
Proactive engagement helps health plans, providers, and facilities navigate the IDR process more effectively while protecting PRI’s neutrality.
The stakeholder engagement team is viewed as both a strong service function and a source of strategic insight for the broader business.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

3+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic operations, program leadership, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
Exceptional structured problemsolving skills—you can bring clarity to an ambiguous question, separate signal from noise, and develop a practical path forward.
Analytical rigor and strong business judgment, with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into clear recommendations.
A track record of carrying strategy through execution, including building new programs, processes, or operating models from the ground up.
Executivelevel communication and crossfunctional influence; you can create alignment, facilitate decisions, and move work forward with multiple stakeholders.
Experience leading and developing people, with a willingness to stay close to the work while building the team’s capability.
Comfort operating in a regulated environment. Healthcare, government, or other complianceintensive experience is strongly preferred; No Surprises Act or IDR experience is a differentiator.
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly build credibility with participants who bring different perspectives—including providers, facilities, and health plans.
