Job Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Room Attendant/Housekeeper, where your energy and attention to detail will create welcoming, spotless environments for our guests. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring each visitor experiences a high standard of hospitality. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive atmosphere that keeps guests returning time and again. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in housekeeping and hospitality management while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms to meet quality standards.
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
Perform floor care tasks such as polishing hardwood floors or deep cleaning carpets to uphold a pristine environment.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate janitorial supplies and industrial cleaning equipment.
Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.

Experience

Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred.
Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques and floor care across various surfaces.
Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles enhances guest interactions.
Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or custodial tasks is a plus.
Background in housekeeping management or supervisory roles can be advantageous for career growth within the team.
Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills ensures all duties are completed thoroughly.
