Job Title: Entry-Level Drafter Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Drafter Intern to support our design and engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience in creating technical drawings, assisting with design projects, and learning industry standards. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and has a basic understanding of drafting software.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD 2026).
Modify and update drawings based on feedback from engineers or senior drafters.
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
Organize and maintain drawing files and documentation.
Support project teams by preparing layouts, diagrams, and schematics.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers as assigned.
Perform basic measurements, calculations, and data entry.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD 2026, MicroStation Connect Edition a plus).
General Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
Familiarity with technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

Exposure to 3D modeling software (Revit, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.)
Basic knowledge of construction or engineering principles.
