We are looking for a MRI Tech (ARMRIT) If you are ARRT accredited, please let us know as that will be considered when setting rate, and pay depends on experience.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join the Sol Radiology team. They will be responsible for operating a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner to produce detailed diagnostic images of patients' internal structures and organs. They will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment. The MR Technologist prepares patients for MR scans, positions them correctly, and administers contrast materials when necessary. They follow safety protocols, review, and evaluate MR images, maintain accurate records, perform equipment maintenance, and stay updated with advancements in MRI technology. Excellent communication and technical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate demeanor are essential for success in this role.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge of MR equipment operation, safety protocols, and image acquisition techniques

· Familiarity with anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

· 1-2 years of experience preferred.

· Certification as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRIT) or

· State licensure CRT and ARRT

· ARRT (MR) preferred.

· BLS certification issued by AHA.

· Venipuncture certificate

· Must maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds.

SKILLS

· Review and analyze your captured images to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards.

· Position patients correctly and administer contrast agents, when necessary

· Daily calibrations, QC maintenance and cleaning of the MR equipment.

· Maintaining equipment inventories.

· Ensure proper dosage, monitor for any adverse reactions, and document the administration.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Able to provide excellent patient care.

· A customer service pro.

· Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Someone who can foster teamwork and have interpersonal awareness and initiative.

· Focused on delivering a high level of quality in your work.
