Job Summary
The Junior Systems Administrator will work with senior Systems Administration personnel in the maintenance and overall health of the corporate network and infrastructure. Assists in helpdesk operations. Performs all other duties as assigned by department manager.

Duties
1. Setup and monitor company wide data backups. Maintenance of backup systems.
2. Setup new servers, physical or virtual, including OS installation and configuration.
3. Support enterprise IT applications, including configuration, implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance, and user training to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
4. Assist System Administrator in phone system setup and troubleshooting.
5. Oversee helpdesk software including configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
6. Assist Tier 1 support personnel as required to help maintain ticket queue to a minimal response time. Answer incoming support calls as necessary.
7. Handle Tier 2 support calls
8. Networking installation and troubleshooting, including install of network switches/routers/hardware
9. Desktop computer setup
Qualifications
· Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and/or job experience equaling the knowledge necessary to fulfill required job duties.
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a Technology department
· Experience working in a health care organization preferred.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 desktop operating systems.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2022 or later.
· Working knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery solutions, such as Veeam Backup & Replication.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
· Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, software applications, and business systems.
· Experience with VMware vSphere administration preferred.
· Working knowledge of network configuration and troubleshooting, including firewalls, switches, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, technical documentation, professional journals, and government regulations.

Pay: $64,480.00 - $83,824.00 per year
