Overview

Goss Auto Body has been a family-owned company since 1964. We are located at 629 Olde Midway Road in Menasha. We have a Body Shop, a Mechanic Shop, and a Towing Division. Goss Auto Body currently has a Full Time Position open for an Auto Collision Estimator. If you are reliable and like working with people, this could be the opportunity for you to join the Goss Auto Body family.

Join our dynamic team as a Collision Estimator and become a vital part of our collision repair operation! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers and insurance representatives, providing expert vehicle damage assessments and estimates. Your energetic approach will help streamline the repair process, maximize customer satisfaction, and ensure efficient communication between clients, technicians, and management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your automotive knowledge, sales skills, and customer service expertise to deliver top-tier collision repair solutions.

Responsibilities

Review vehicle damage reports and perform detailed auto estimating using computer-aided estimating software.
Communicate clearly with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to explain repair scopes and costs.
Strive to improve levels of customer satisfaction and maintain insurance company relationships.
Set a good example for employees with work habits: Coming to work and getting to work on time.
Manage client communication efficiently by providing updates on repair status and explaining repair options transparently.
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments related to estimates or repairs.
Maintain organized records of estimates, client interactions, and repair orders
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and insurance representatives.
Familiarity with automotive systems
Order parts

Qualifications

1-4 years of office / customer service experience
Computer Knowledge (Quick Books, Microsoft Office)
Estimating Software Knowledge (CCC One, Repair Center)
Problem solving skills
Organization
Works well with others
Must be punctual and reliable.
