Fleet Farm is transforming the HR service delivery model with a clear vision: to create a faster, more consistent, proactive, and Team Member-focused HR experience while building a culture where strong performance, talent development, and leadership accountability become competitive advantages for Fleet Farm. The Director of Field HR will be at the center of that transformation, leading our Field HR organization and partnering closely with Operations leadership and HR Centers of Excellence to strengthen the Team Member experience across Fleet Farm.
Our Field HR Model
Lead the continued transformation of Fleet Farm's Field HR service delivery model. You will establish clearer expectations, stronger operating rhythms, measurable service standards, and greater accountability for how HR supports our stores and Team Members.
A key priority will be shifting Field HR toward an increasingly proactive, data-driven, and strategy driver.
Elevate the Team Member Experience
Help us rethink how Team Members and leaders experience HR. You will identify opportunities to improve accessibility, responsiveness, consistency, and quality of HR support, with a particular focus on proactive talent management, identification of recurring issues, removal of unnecessary complexity, and navigating root causes rather than symptoms.
Build a High-Performance Culture
Partner with Operations and HR leadership to establish a stronger and more disciplined approach to performance management. You will help create the framework, routines, leadership capabilities, and accountability necessary to establish a culture where expectations are clear, performance is differentiated, and leaders actively develop their teams.
Build Our Talent Pipeline
Help make talent a competitive advantage for Fleet Farm. You will strengthen our approach to talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and identification of high-potential Team Members, creating stronger pipelines for critical field leadership roles and meaningful career opportunities for our Team Members.
Strengthen Engagement & Retention
Turn Team Member feedback and workforce data into action. You will use engagement results, turnover and retention trends, employee relations themes, exit insights, and other workforce analytics to identify opportunities and partner with field leaders on targeted solutions.
