We’re looking for a professional team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and confirm their identity using two identifiers (for example, name and date of birth).
Have patients sign any necessary forms or consents.
Verify and update patient contact, demographic, and insurance information.
Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments.
Process insurance authorizations and referrals as needed.
Accurately update patient records in the system for each visit.
Verify insurance and obtain pre-approvals for high-cost services.
Collect payments (co-pays, cash, or checks) and record them accurately.
Make sure referral authorization numbers are sent to billing promptly.
Understand how registration errors can affect patient care and billing.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, doctors, and coworkers.
Answer phone calls and messages promptly and professionally.
Help solve problems quickly and effectively.
Be flexible with your schedule to meet clinic needs.
Conduct follow ups with patients when needed
Attend staff meetings regularly.
Support the manager with projects or training new team members.
Assist with ordering office supplies.
Provide coverage and assistance in other areas when needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

Minimum 1 year
