BOOKKEEPER
CFO Dental Partners | Eagle, ID (100% Remote)
Pay: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour
Part-time (20 hrs/week, Mon–Thu) with path to full-time within 6–12 months

We provide outsourced CFO consulting and financial operations support, exclusively for dentists. CFO Dental Partners works only with general and specialized dental practices, privately owned by dentists. We have recently expanded our outsourced support to include Human Resources.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- New client onboarding process
- Set-up and clean-up of client books
- Set-up of cloud-based workflows and systems
- Generate client-facing reports based on financial and production data
What Success Looks Like
In your first 30 days, you’ll complete onboarding, get oriented in our systems, and take ownership of 1–2 client accounts. By 90 days, you’ll be independently managing your client book, producing clean monthly reports on schedule, and flagging issues before clients notice them. Long-term, you’ll be a trusted extension of our CFO team — someone practice owners rely on.
Experience
Required:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in QuickBooks Online (this is non-negotiable)
Desired:
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in: Gusto, Karbon, BILL, Dext, Slack, Google Drive
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
- Certified in QBO (or ability to obtain certification within 90 days)
- College degree
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business

Position Details
- Job Type: Part-time to start, transitioning to Full-time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 20 hours/week
- Work Location: 100% Remote — async-friendly team using QBO, Slack, and Google Workspace. Equipment and software provided.
- Supplemental Pay: Discretionary bonus
Growth Path
This role starts at 20 hours per week. As your client portfolio grows and you demonstrate strong performance, we expect the transition to full-time (40 hrs/week) to happen within 6–12 months. We’ve made this transition with team members before and are actively planning for it here.
