Job Title: Material Handler / Conveyor & Palletizing Operator

Pay Rate:
- 1st Shift: $17.83 per hour
- 2nd Shift: $19.83 per hour
Work Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (2 positions)
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (2 positions)
(Contract role running through next year)
Overview of the Job
The Material Handler / Conveyor & Palletizing Operator performs essential physical warehouse and distribution functions. This role is responsible for unloading trailer shipments, inspecting and identifying incoming inventory, palletizing similar parts, applying inventory control labels, and operating stretch-wrap machinery to secure completed pallets.
Job Specifications
Primary Responsibilities
- Unload cartons safely and efficiently from incoming trailers onto the conveyor system.
- Inspect incoming cartons and parts to accurately identify items.
- Sort and palletize matching/like parts together in organized stacks.
- Apply accurate put-away labels to parts and cartons according to warehouse identification procedures.
- Operate pallet wrapping machinery to properly secure finished pallets for movement and storage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment within the facility.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including manual lifting, stacking, and loading.
- Strong attention to detail to accurately inspect cartons, sort parts, and verify inventory labels.
- Ability to read and execute basic oral and written warehouse instructions.
- Reliability and commitment to maintaining attendance on designated shifts.
- Ability to work safely around conveyor systems and automated stretch-wrapping equipment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, or general labor environments is a plus.
