Sales Associate

Position Summary

This Sales Associate position requires direct interaction with in-store customers, as well as assisting the Manager and Owner with boosting our business’ ecommerce performance. We are ideally looking for a candidate to join our team full-time, but part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply. We are a small, family-owned business that values a work-life balance and are looking for someone who can wear many hats.

Job Qualifications and Skills

Jewelry sales and/or retail experience
Excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the phone
Familiarity with Shopify's online and POS system
Attention to detail, and organizational skills.
An interest / passion for jewelry
Bachelor's Degree Required

Position Responsibilities

Offering clients a five-star experience at our brick-and-mortar store directly (in person, over the phone, and via email).
Providing product information and recommendations to guide customers towards the products/services that meet their specific needs.
Improving our customer service interaction & adhering to store policies to boost growth and brand awareness of our company.
Fulfilling online orders
Completing payment processing for orders and follow up on collection for layaway orders
Creating word processing documents and templates for in-store use.
Entering new purchases into inventory & inspecting items for quality assurance upon receipt
Managing and preparing for in-person customer appointments
Assisting with store and display upkeep & merchandising
Administrative work including file organization

Pay: $37,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
