Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
Implement and maintain quality systems such as CGMP, HACCP, and ISO 9001
Develop and execute quality assurance policies and procedures
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for process improvement
Manage quality audits both internally and externally
Lead project management initiatives related to quality improvement
Act as the plant contact for all USDA issues.
Provides leadership for Food Safety initiatives in the Manufacturing Plant.
Point of Contact and responsible for the accountability of the Subcontracting Sanitation Company

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Experience in Quality Systems or Operations Management.

· Excellent communication skills, problem solving and positive manufacturing results.

· Desired knowledge of all areas of Quality management.

· Knowledge in statistical concepts: ability to trend and analyze data and have strong

root cause analysis skills.

· Is capable to effectively solve problems and make quick, educated decisions.

· SQF practitioner certification

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Education and Experience:

· A minimum of a BS degree in a science related field, Food Science, microbiology desired.

· 5 years of experience in a management position

· SQF practitioner certification preferred
