Production Cook – Cannabis Confections
Pay: Starting at $17.50hr, with growth opportunities up to $22/hr
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Production Cook to join our licensed cannabis kitchen and help create consitent, quality confections. This role is perfect for experienced cooks, bakers, chocolatiers, or candy makers who want to work in a professional, high-volume kitchen environment.
Your focus will be on preparing, cooking, and finishing candies, chocolates, and other confections with precision, consistency, and attention to detail—while handling large batches and heavy kitchen equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Produce candies and chocolates following exact recipes and quality standards.
- Measure, mix, cook, and package large-scale batches using industrial kitchen tools and heavy pots/pans.
- Maintain a clean, food-safe workspace, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols. (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules while delivering consistent, high-quality products.
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and maintain a professional kitchen environment.
- Assist packagers and kitchen assistants when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Required: Active Arizona Facility Agent Card to work with cannabis-infused products. If your FA card application is pending, we are willing wait for the approval for the right candidate!
- Experience as a cook, baker, chocolatier, candy maker, or in food production is preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable in a tight kitchen environment during large production runs
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow recipes and production procedures exactly.
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong teamwork skills and comfort in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
