We are looking for a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Arizona.

Copperstate Machine and Industrial Services LLC. is looking to grow its installation team as the company expands to serve clients across the United States in the water and wastewater industry.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work for a growing organization and be a meaningful part of the team that is renovating, replacing, and innovating water and wastewater processing equipment for municipalities all over the United States. Successful applicants will receive relevant training specific to role.
Essential Millwright/ Industrial Mechanic apprentice duties:
- Promptly assist in trouble shoot, process and mechanical problems
- Perform supervised basic maintenance, repair, and calibration
- Assist Millwright/Mechanic in overhaul of machinery by tearing down equipment and repairing or replacing damaged machine parts
- Assist in operating mechanical equipment to diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs
- Care for and use hand tools in the repair of equipment and structures
- Assist in performance of all general preventive maintenance duties such as greasing, oiling, etc..
- Assist in dismantle of machines and equipment to gain access to problem area, using hand/power tools (occasionally specialty tooling)
- Assist in testing malfunctioning machinery to determine repairs
- Keep leadership informed of activities/progress
- Assist in plant emergency responses (direction of team lead)
- Perform in a safe manner that is in accordance with the site-specific safety program and following all company and OSHA safety practices
- Assist Team lead in safe operation of equipment and systems at facilities
- Assist in repairs to wastewater systems, equipment and components
- Able to physically work on jobsites for 10 to 12 hrs.
- 1 + yrs trade experience (Millwright, mechanic, welder or machinist-Preferred)
- Follow all Company QC documentation
- Ability to organize and housekeeping tooling, parts and jobsite materials effectively and efficiently
Requirements:
- Ability to learn troubleshooting mechanical and other types of malfunctions of machinery and equipment
- Ability to take and follow instructions
- Ability to understand operation manuals step by step instructions
- Willingness to obtain/retain knowledge of application, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to commute back and forth to work
- Ability to travel to jobsites around the U.S 10 to 15 days a month
- Valid driver’s license
- Background and drug testing
- Punctual, reliable and dependable
- Ability to show up fit for duty
Physical Environment
- Lift tools, machinery parts and other objects weighing up to 80 lbs ea.
- Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Able to work all day outside in any type of weather on job sites for 12 hrs
Schedule
- 8 am to 5 pm Monday – Friday (shop hours)
- 8 to 12 hr. workdays for field work (start and end times vary)

- Shop: Queen Creek, AZ
- Field work: Multiple locations nationwide
Education Preferred
- High School degree or equivalent
- Complete OSHA 30 Training 90 days after hire (company supplied)
- Understanding of Audel Millwright, Handbook guide to the 4th edition
- NCCER Level 1 understanding and begin Level 2 (Company Supplied)
- Ability to test out and progress to Millwright
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
