Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions that drive our core business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable, reliable, and innovative systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. Your expertise in modern software engineering practices will help shape the future of our technology landscape and deliver exceptional value to our users.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end development of backend systems using technologies such as.NET, Java, Python, and Node.js, ensuring robust and scalable architecture.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services that facilitate seamless integration across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
Develop intuitive front-end interfaces utilizing React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and UI frameworks to enhance user experience.
Collaborate in Agile software development environments to plan sprints, review code, conduct unit testing, and ensure continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are optimized for efficiency.
Architect system components with a focus on scalability, performance optimization, security best practices, and system design principles such as UML and microservices architecture.
Utilize version control tools like GitHub, TFS, SVN to manage code repositories effectively while maintaining high standards for code quality.
Debug complex issues across distributed systems using tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, IIS, Linux command-line utilities, and debugging techniques to ensure system stability.

Requirements

Proven experience in software engineering with a strong background in developing backend systems using.NET (.NET Core), Java, Python or Ruby on Rails.
Extensive knowledge of front-end development frameworks such as React (including React Express), Angular, or Vue.js along with JavaScript/TypeScript for building responsive UI components.
Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB for efficient data management.
Strong understanding of system design for large-scale distributed systems including microservices architecture and cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in API development using RESTful services or SOAP web services; familiarity with WCF is a plus.
Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools to streamline deployment processes.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; ability to work effectively within fast-paced development cycles.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex issues across multiple layers of the technology stack.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or TFS; experience with UML modeling for system design is advantageous.
